Beautiful... is that banana plants or just palms in the video? My family lives outside Georgia, and I'm always jealous that they can grown everything year round...

Tracey that plant is a white Bird of Paradise. If not cut back every year it can grow up to the roof. I am very fortunate in that I have a Gardner who has been with me since we bought this house ten years ago. I do the designing, he does the planting and maintaining. He mows and trims and also shapes our big trees. He’s here every week and whenever I need him for something. He is truly a blessing. I don’t buy jewelry or designer clothes or cars. I buy plant love.
The photo of blossom is from my plant. The other photo is from internet and illustrates just how big an untrimmed plant can get.

Your yard is beautiful!!
I have always wanted a bird of paradise plant! Not sure how they would do here in Georgia winters. We do get a couple of really cold months.
I do have lots of banana trees! And 6 crepe myrtles! They are also beautiful!

We aren’t allowed to have banana orange lemon or any other fruit trees here. Also no bamboo. Banana and bamboo very invasive and hard to remove. Fallen fruit from Trees attract rats from the ponds as well as raccoons, armadillos, opossums, deer and wild pigs etc from the state conservation land surrounding us. Then, there is always citrus canker that destroys those trees. I love how your banana trees look, but they are a big No No here.

WOW... that is stunning!!! I love all those tropical plants...

Wonderful photos. Here we only have bird of paradise as houseplants or, more commonly, as imported cut flowers. No crape myrtles here either!
