Champion Pet Food & Mars

I was curious if Mars, by obtaining Champion Pet Food, if they will tweak the original recipes of Acana and ORIJEN.
So I’ve emailed the question. According to the email I’ve received from Champion Pet Food, they are still making the products
here in Alberta Canada. What’s done behind close doors, no one knows but, hopefully Champion Pet Food keeps their word and totally
produces their own products. Ive attached the email below.

Helene!! I love your love for Information. I only hope they remain True in production as well.

Though I do have to say, Ellie was on every Orijen Protein Type I could get my hands on that was produced in Canada.

Unfortunately for us here in the States we ended up only being able purchase what is manufactured in the USA Kitchens, and we did feel in recently past months after the acquisition, there could have been a little shake up in our Recipe (Regional Red), I had wanted to be more investigative, but lost track of time.

American people should email on the Canadian side demanding the Canadian version. That being said, I thought it was only their fish recipe US changed. I think it was the Kentucky Plant. The way I read the email is Mars acquired Champions cause of the quality n not touching the recipe. Maybe I misread read it. Sometimes the French Italian kicks in
