Canelo met our newest family member Venus. She's a pistol and is taking over the house. She ventured up to Canelo while he was working hard on his coma, Canelo was unphased but didn't want to wake up. A nice, brief meeting.

She is, she's an Eclectus. Here's a better picture. Canelo is so good and laid back, that's a plus. We don't allow the birds to interact like this, Venus ran off Husband's arm to investigate the snoring napper.

Beautiful. My mother has 2 African Greys courtesy of my brother who breeds them. Everytime I visit her with my dog, Harvey has this curiosity in him but I read it as I wonder how that chicken taste?.

Amazing! Holy crap. What a stunning bird. It's wonderful canelo was so gentle.. Last spring i brought Winslow to stay with me at a friend's house for a few days. He was fascinated with her birds, but uh... like [MENTION=12554]harveyspecter[/MENTION] we had no idea what the fascination would lead to.

Canelo is very mellow. We don't allow the dogs and birds to mingle, you just never know what can happen. Now in this case Venus is a little speed demon, jumped off Husbands arm making a beeline for me across the couch, stopping to check out Canelo. We have another parrot, Buddy, who we adopted last March. It took Canelo 20 minutes to realize a new creature was in the house. Buddy throws food at Canelo so he makes Canelo's day, lol.
