@helsonwheels suggested a headlamp for Buster to wear around his neck at night to help with his blindness. A great idea! Unfortunately, my boy doesn't quite cooperate! Imagine that! No problems wearing it, he just won't lift his head up. The beam points directly down close to the grass resulting in a very small circle of light no matter how I try to adjust it.
However, all is not lost. I wear it! :2thumbs: It is the perfect solution! I walk directly behind him, and it shines over his head and in front of him so there is a much larger circle of light for him to hopefully see a little bit. It also keeps my hands free to steer him as necessary. It is incredibly bright, and I have to be careful where I point my head, so I am going to use the low beam 'side-lights' tonight and see how we do.
Thanks, Helene!

A work in progress! So glad it seems to be a good option to help you both with the night time potty

How about if you put his harness on n clip it on his chess?
That is a thought, but the problem is when he hears his harness, he goes bonkers as he thinks he is going in the car. He will not go past the garage door. His brakes are on! Blind or not, he knows where that door is!
Me wearing it seems to be working OK so far.
