Does anyone know what this might be? My 9 month old female just came into heat and while I was cleaning her I noticed bleeding from her rectum. She has since stopped but there is a small lump remaining. Took her to the vet and said it might be a straining injury and gave her antibiotics and pills for the swelling as well. The vet also mentioned possible mast cell tumor and said to keep a close eye on it. Picture are of what it looked like at the very beginning followed by middle and what it looks like now (after 2 weeks)

It could be a tumor, but it also could be a hemorroid. I would keep a watchful eye as the vet recommended.
Wow, I was unaware that dogs could get hemorrhoids. Vet never mentioned it.
