So little Frank has been sometimes having trouble with his poop 🫤,
We have been finding just a little turd that he hasn’t been able to get rid of. He comes in we have been checking and find just a little poo sticking out.

My husband has been the lucky one to find it most times šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚. And believe me
He isn’t too happy about having to wipe his butt.🤣

I looked up possible causes. He is definitely not dehydrated as he drinks tons!
Also, I had him on probiotics with his antibiotic. Now that he is off of them how often should I give him the probiotic?
Oh and one more question, the vet said he may need entropion surgery in the future. We had been using terramycin when we first got him home and that helped with the funky and runny eyes, his tear stains are pretty much all cleared up. But then he started with the gunky eyes when he wakes up again this week. I used terramycin last night and it’s better this morning. Any advice on that?
We are so enjoying having the two of them! He has brought even more laughs to the house!! We really didn’t have any issues like these with Bella as a pup.

What are you feeding him? Have you added any pumpkin?

Purina Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach salmon and rice.
That’s what the breeder had him on. I didn’t want to change that along with all of his other things he had when we brought him home.

I've always wiped my bulldogs butts, since I can remember. They can't reach to clean.

Of course that's a little different than cling-ons but I feel like I've also dealt with a constant supply of those since I can remember.

Millie eats the same proplan, I wipe her butt. I also wiped her butt when she ate fromm, and Orijen.

@Hceril I would try adding pumpkin to his menu, as 2BullyMaMa suggested.
Ok. I had given him pumpkin when he first came home. I will give him some more.
He is growing up too fast! He has gained 6 lbs in the last two weeks! I don’t want him to grow up so soon! šŸ˜‚
His tear stains have cleared up tremendously! The picture looks like he has raccoon eyes but he doesn’t! Lol

There’s another newer member feeding her dog same thing and issues. What does Bella eat?

I don't think I've seen any recent posts about ProPlan are you sure you're not confusing it with me? I love it, we've had less problems the last two months.

We had to switch Bella’s food a few mints back because I had such a hard time getting her brand to Purina One natural Lamb and Rice.

Bella is fine but Frank is not responding well? Wonder...is he still teething?

Frank is on salmon and rice puppy food.
He is doing great on it except for sometimes we have to wipe his bum.
Maybe we are just so used to Bella. We never had to do that with her. Also he had been on probiotics everyday. I read that that could possibly cause it so I have not been giving him that everyday now. We will see if that helps.

Jump days see how it goes…
I use to give it to my dogs but I personally switched to probiotics as food source. Like fermented sauerkraut or fermented veggies. Does same job.
