Hello Everyone,
It's been a while since we have been on here and Poogan is growing so fast. He's eight months old now and just started some obedience classes. I have explored the forum looking for information on pinch collars because our trainer recommended that we use one. They properly fitted...
Am I screwed with her actually liking the harness?
She runs. And Its like 5 mins of trying to catch her, when I grab the harness.
And her harness is a neccessity. She still is mischevious and I have to pull her away from things. So a collar isnt a good option for our walks.
Ive heard good...
So this is my most recent battle. Becoming Alpha.
We've had Taco for almost a year now,and he has been a model citizen. He knows I'm top dog in the house, and he's been great on the leash, and even off the leash. He listens when I call him, it's been good.
Our recent introduction, Thor, has...
Do you prefer a collar or harness to use with the leash for your dogs? I have our new puppy's daily collar picked out, but not sure if I should get a harness too. I just use the daily collars for my 2 Bassett-mixes. We do not walk often, mostly play/run in our decent-sized back yard.
How cool would it be if we would be able to have our favorite football team's colors on the harness as a velcro patch? I think it would be super unique and we would have so much fun watching the games with our babies. Any opinion?
Hi Everyone, We are looking for a new harness for Daisy and see so many great things about the Julius K9 harness. Daisy isn't even 4 months yet and still growing, any idea what size we should get for her for longest use? Thanks.
I have tried two others in the last week and half. The first being a regular collar which when he stopped walking which he was doing frequently would pull up to his ears so I tried a slip collar on him and he absolutely would refuse to walk sometimes. I don't know if anyone else has tried these...
My Elmo is 2 years young today July 30th. Elmo got a Julius Harness and a vanilla cupcake, Happy 2nd Birthday to My Special Boy who Is My World. Love, Your Mommie
Its been a long while since I've posted, but I wanted to let you all know that last night we drove out to Temecula CA to pick up a sweet 2 year old bully named Winnie. I'll make the back story short.
After my wife and I got our two bullies, her niece (14 at the time) decided that she had to...
Harvey is microchipped but I never had a name tag for him until today. I just had one made and engraved with his name and our phone. He does not have a collar but a harness only and I only put those on when I take him for a walk.
Question: what is an alternative collar or even leather...
So I've seen a lot of good information on EBDN about these harnesses, and I would like to order one for Taco. We have been using a leather collar, which he is fine with, but I would like something with a handle on it for when we take him to the dog park, etc.
I've looked into ordering them...
So I know I started a thread about Wellie pulling but what happened earlier today takes the cake.
We went on our daily walk earlier. Everything was going fine until he saw a group of pigeons congregating around some food.
He went after them at full speed, but this time, his harness ripped and...
So after I purchased my harness i started following the official Julius K9 on Facebook, and they have so really funny posts.. So I though I would share it with you guys :)

Hello everyone!
I came across this topic once, but I cannot find it, so I decided to start a new one. What do you use at night to make your dog more visible? Maybe just late evening walks. We use our harness that has the light-reflecting chest strap, and the always bright, interchangeable side...
For those of you who have the Julius K-9 harness, has your bully ever "flown" out of their harness? This has happened twice w/Finn a few months ago and just last night with Tate. Scared me to death last night b/c I just brought both out for their walk and we were in the driveway. Another lady...
Hello everyone!
I saw a post on swimming harnesses before, so I started researching. I found this product that you can see on this picture. So I decided to go to a store and try it on before buying it since we all know how difficult it is to buy the right size for our puppies. I was satisfied...
Hi everyone! We got his new harness yesterday and today he got to wear it and i have to share lol.
It's the new harness from Ruffwear. It looks good and is adjustable at the chest and waist.. it's padded, has reflectos strips, it has a pocket for the dog's ID tag and has two leash attachment...
So sorry if this is in the wrong place, but...
My husband and I are getting our first English bulldog puppy next month and I wanted to get a harness for him beforehand, but wasn't sure what size to get him. Even the adjustable ones have sizes. He will be 8 weeks old when we get him.
I tried...
Looking into buying my guy a harness and was told to try Julius K9 or Brilliant K9. Not sure of the difference between the two, but have you guys tried either? OR is there another option that you prefer for your bully?
Hi, everyone-
I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for me to use with Cricket. She's recently become more skittish about having a collar, harness, or anything (this includes clothes) put on her. She's never liked clothes- she just becomes dead weight when I put things on her, and then rolls...
Need to buy new ones for the boys. But every time we try one on, the top strap is too close to the neck. So when the lead gets attached and we pull (even a little bit), it rides up and pulls
against the neck. This is exactly what we're trying to avoid.
This has happened with every single...
So, a couple of things about Bella:
She walks now! It looks like my pup will be a walking partner. When I first got Bella, she would only walk far enough to pee/poop. I'd have to carry her away from home so that she would walk back home. Crazy! Then, I got her to walk more and walk...
I read about it (and the poor performance of other tested safety harnesses) at: The Best Seat Belts For Your Dog - Forbes
We are driving half-way across the country for the holidays and had planned to get a hammock and seatbelt harness but now I wonder if we should just get this safety harness...
Our first bully was a senior adoption and never needed a collar. Our new bully adoption is a pup ( maybe 10 months) and comes to work with me and needs a collar there. I found a fleece harness from clean run that works great for walks( but we take it off when she is home) etc. but cannot find...
Just a general rant....
I came home for lunch and to let Ruby out for a potty break yesterday. When she was out in the snow, she sat in front of me for a second....I notice when she got up she left a blood spot. I knew right away....we had some-what been expecting "her time" to come soon, but...
