  • We are getting a 7 month old foster tonight so we may be back in the same position as last time. Wish me luck!!
Ahhh there a good bunch , funny with getting Rosie seemed to have changed the rest of the pack and there daily rituals , never seen them play TOGETHER so much lol
Thank you sweet lady! It was a pleaseant and quite day --- nice lunch with the other half and spent the day in the yard with the pups.
Sorry it's taken this long to reply, Lynn, we had rain (so needed) but
brings pain, also...end of August brings Stuart's death date so you
know how that goes! Four years but seems like yesterday, I think all
the bad things that just kept coming after he died & taking care of
Mother delayed my grieving process so it just seems a shorter time
to me. There ARE a lot of newbies here, like you, it feels a bit different
but I think people get busy in summer, also, tired & burnt out from heat!
Noticed a lot of old-timers were a bit MIA but seem to be back some. It's
not you, it's other things! Lynn...if you only knew how interesting you are
and how amazing, people want to know you! Like you, I get so much 'in
my own head'...isolation IS NOT good for us ;( Have you thought of selling
your place & moving into town? A big change I know but I had too, it's a
necessity now as it is hard to get around. Praying for your needs to be met,
I send true love to you & pack <3
Thanks for the note! I don't know how to respond to those if you can. Some people ask us why we kept him or even have a dog we barely interact with but I tell them if we didn't have him I don't think anyone would have given him a chance. We have a dog door and a dog room and he lets himself in and out, he is a good boy. I wish Biscuit would stop picking on him! Thanks again : )
Sending you warm thoughts, big hugs & constant prayer over you & yours,
dear Sister. Sure hoping things are better for you...I know what it's like to
feel an afterthought to family and missing the loving support of a husband
that loved you & put you FIRST in all things. It sure sucks & isn't fair!

Cami & I are hanging on, things could be better but could also be worse.
I'm weak pretty much all time, not frail (thankfully) but no strength. In
pain every day, mostly bearable with OTC meds & Tramadol for the worsening
nerve pain, I can really feel the damage now. My hands & feet, very numb &
makes walking difficult & hands are clumsy, dexterity & flexibility gone. Sure
miss my Vicodin, made coping so much better & easing of constant pain gave
more energy to do things. Glad I'm older as I'd hate living a longer time with this
    crap!
AWESOME!! missioned accomplished ;) I just wanted to give a smile and warm your heart.... enjoy -- hugs and love to you and all the animals! Wasn't sure what treat to send for donkeys :giggle: So I covered the pups
    Hi Lynn...
I'm sure most here have no idea about Paladin. I found that image on the internet many years ago and thought that it would make a great Business Card. So what you see as my siggy is a scan of the back of my On the Rebound biz card. Does knowing who Paladin is mean that we're old, or just well-informed?

    Cheers!
Oh, thanks! Difficult to say if he's better but it doesn't look worse than yesterday so hopefully the shaving and the shampoo are helping. The good thing is that it doesn't seem to hurt and that he actually liked the shampoo treatment.
Hi Lynne, I have had a lot going on, but I am trying to dedicate more time to EBN, I do miss being on as much as I used to be. Everything is ok. You are so sweet to worry! Hugs & Kisses!
Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaa. I will take a picture and send it to you. So happy they like the fruitables :) Let me know when they run out, and Auntie Jess will refill :)
