HAHAHA!
I try not to speak much now about the series of tragedies that started
2 years ago with my husband's unexpected death (at 52) because to
everyone, I'm sure it seems a long time ago but for me, I'm just now
getting over it. I bring this up because the story of Brutus & me has so
much more to it but it wasn't the post to go into it. I adopted Brutus TWO
months before Stuart died so you can imagine how helpful he was in
filling my heart's brokenness. I moved myself & Mother back to Hewitt, 5
hours away (we'd only been in Tyler 10 months) and it was 5 months later
I lost Brutus in surgery, again, an unexpected death, that's when I fell apart!
We had 7 months together but it was worthy of 70 years of love! Brutus was
a wonderful bulldog and was just coming into his full 'bullyness' and I was
blessed to see & participate in his transformation...AWESOME.
Your kindness is much appreciated, my friend...thank you
