we rescued an older bulldog, Tubby, about 5years ago. Now he will be 10 years old the end of Sept. His teeth/gums bleed when he chews on pork twists, etc. I know not to give him rawhide, but need something to give him. Vet hasn't said anything about his teeth being bad; they're just all over the top of his mouth in zig-zag fashion. Cali said Kongs are good, and one other thing... He does eat a grain free diet, but needs something to chew on.

Thanks for the invite! I have 2 questions; how do I add a picture of my Tubby, and my Tubby's gums bleed when he chews rawhide; I've heard never to give bulldogs rawhide. What can I give him? He eats a grain free diet and has some digestive issues.

That's funny, I swear I was just going to ask you if you would consider taking him to Kramer, maybe hopefully it will all be gone by the time you give him the last dosage...

Thanks for the welcome! just got a new english bulldog puppy his name is Jiggs on day 2 now. Me and my husband Ben have our hands full but he is our little man and he's stolen our hearts! joined for advice and support for potty training tricks and just over all help on caring for our little man. Cant wait to read other peoples experiences! We need all the help and info we can get

OMG! I would have absolutely freaked completely out if that happened to Buster! I honestly thought reading that thread that the vet was going to tell you that the blood was really strawberry stuff from the sundae he had. I'm sending all positive thoughts and prayers around the hill to you. Maybe he had some kind of an allergic reaction to that strawberry stuff maybe.

That's wonderful So happy it gave them some relief. I 100% agree with you on the scent, its so light - just perfect. Tyson comes out very soft & fluffy too. Hee hee. Glad you & your boys are doing well. Please give them hugs & kisses from me!!! xoxo
