  • I know, I'm not worried to the point that he needs to be seen... but Tyson never eats grass. On the few occasions he did, it was indeed his belly... so I know he's not feeling well. I wonder if he has an allergy to something in that kibble, and it was causing upset belly & the physical allergies like ears, face, etc. I hope with the bland for a few days it will clear up.

I know you will keep us posted on Lambeau, so I'll be checking in constantly - I am praying so so so much that its just a bug. Nothing serious. Will he let you just gently rub his belly? Just to soothe him a bit.
Oh, the boy has not stopped eating. He still wants everything in site, I only put him on bland bc of the grass eating, and bc of the bad allergies. He stays hungry though. I just dont know if the allergies affect his belly or not.

Oh gosh, I hate that he's not feeling well.... thank God your vet is seeing him today. The pain in the belly when you touch him worries me :(
Did Banks belly hurt when her allergies were acting up? I gave him benadryl yesterday, I'll prob give him another today :(
On Lambeau, its good that he's pooping at least. With those symptoms - its one of two things. Some sort of bacterial infection (like Tyson got from the salmonella) or possible obstruction.... gosh I hope its just nasty bug. Poor guy.
That is strange. Tyson's ears are hot! So I've been trying to clean them (when he allows me too) I think he's fighting yeast, but I don't know if that's related to the belly issue. He will sit there and just chomp down on grass non-stop, unless I make him stop. Today his poop was mush, but I think its bc of the bland - I just started it yesterday. IDK, I just hope I can work it out and I dont have to take him in. He hasn't vomited... and acts, and seems fine otherwise. Poor Lamby though, vomiting takes alot outta them. :( Has he pooped today?
Thank you so much for sending along a little treat for Frank along with auction items! That was very sweet. He loves the treats!
Sure as soon as I win Lotto, it's yours! I received my mug in the mail today. I can't wait to get home to see it! My daughter also said there was something extra in the box, so thanks for that!
Go Cheli, go Cheli, go Cheli!!!! For some reason that name is perfect for him, and he's the only Cheli I know!:laugh::laugh:of!
Radar is awake and alert - he still had some tubes hooked up when I talked to them this morning -- I hate leaving him at the vet but we are going to leave him until Thursday -- he has been there so long now that I can't bring him home and then go to work so if we bring him home on Thursday I can take Friday off and then have Saturday and Sunday to be with him
No kidding! I swear, I have the entire first aid isle of any store in my house. LOL Side story: The other night we were at a baseball game. There was a little girl in front of us who tripped on the concrete stairs, and scraped her knee...she was crying and telling her dad she needed a band aid... the dad said "honey its ok, we will get a band aid when we get home" bc it wasn't gushing blood or anything. I leaned forward and said - I have a band aid, and he says "oh wow, that would be wonderful, thank you so much..." I pulled out baby wipes for him to clean it, neosporin spray to spray it, and a nice pink band aid. His mouth literally dropped, and he says "oh you must have kids being so prepared like that" - then Danny says, "no, we don't have kids yet, but we have a bulldog" bwhahahahaha.
Hey, sorry for late reply - been bogged down with work. Yes, he's cleared up!! He has scabs now, but no longer red or pink. After it healed & scabbed I was able to better see. He had a total of 4 spots (pimple like bumps) that he just tore up by scratching. So I'm definitely sure it was allergies... I cleaned it daily with witch hazel, applied some old medicated spray I had & then would apply Benadryl cream when we left the house since that is when he tended to scratch it. Now... I'm just cleaning and wiping off the scabs as they fall off. I still apply a dab of the benadryl cream bc I don't want him to itch and open them back up. Thanks for checking on us.
It was his head/ear.... I'll text you a pic now. It was all from him scratching!!! He only does it when we aren't home. I've been watching him through the cams, so far he's been snoozing... praying he leaves it alone w the benadryl/spray.
omg. I came home yesterday to him bleeding! He scratched his head & ear so bad. I don't know if its yeast, an ear infection or a hot spot. Ugh. I did start to introduce the different flavor last night (same brand - Orijen) today I cleaned it really well with witch hazel. Letting it dry up, and I gave him benadryl so he doesn't keep itching it. Stopping by the store after work to pick up some gold bond too.
I have been to all three of those places… Lol I'm up for it, just let me know!!! ;)
