Zoey got Cherry Eye in her left eye so it's back ito the vet and back n the cone of shame...

Hi, I had the same experience with Blossom, she developed cherry eye in her right eye when she was 5 months old, we waited until she was 7 months old and then we had her spayed and the cherry eye repair surgery at the same time. Exactly a week later, and on the same day as her post surgery checkup at the vets, her left eye also popped out. We showed it to our vet when we were there, and we scheduled her surgery a month later to repair the left eye. It would have been better for her to have it all done at once, but we thought her other eye was okay, because it had been 2 months since the right eye developed the cherry eye. The left eye was actually much more severe than the right eye, the cherry covered more of the eye surface than the right eye.

Sorry for Zoey! But they all look great and she doesn't seem to mind the cone too much! Good to see some pictures of them!

Zoey is very good with the cone, she's had a lot of practice. Her first cherry eye in her right eye popped back out less than two weeks and now the left.

They are growing. Zoey seems to be catching Bailey, Zoey is 7 months (8 months on the 12th of Feb) and weighs 41.5 lbs; Bailey will be 10 months on the 15th of Feb and weighs 45 lbs.

Poor Zoey, that cone of shame yet again... Blue hated it but we made him wear it for about 2 weeks..lol..
