Ever since we got Raven I have way more laundry to wash. Mind you I am already washing laundry for a family of five. Raven was just napping on my bed, well she woke up and just yorked up a handful of her dinner. I think I need to try that trick of putting a ball into her dinner plate. I have to stop her pretending to be a hoover. All of the food looked just like it did when it was in the bowl.

I thought of buying the slow feed bowl, but I am not sure that will be good with her snub nose. Any suggestions are welcome!

@jake -- I want to buy the large one. Is it big enough that we don't have to worry about her trying to eat it? Where did you buy yours?

These are the two I have and they work great..... the Kong comes in two sizes, get the smaller of the two, the opening is the right size for kibble.

Bo was a gulper too. She almost choked to death once and I had to yard out the offending kibble from down his throat. Picture the cutest baby you've ever seen falling over from the inability to get air. After it was all over, I was shaking. *shudder*

Using smaller kibble helped. I also soften his food with a boiling water and canned Wellness gravy that I make. Chasing the food around in that gravy has helped his gulping tendencies.

The Kong Wobble is very fun but didn't work for Bo when he was little. He was too lazy to work the thing. You'd think he'd have gotten hungry enough, right? No. Never happened. Now both he and Bea play with it and love it.

These dogs are just too funny....I am going to order the slow feed ball for her and see how that goes.

Vicaroo1000 -- I can only imagine how scared you were.

:hiya: Bizzymamabee, don't think I've officially said hi before (my new girl has been keeping me quite busy the last few weeks). I don't have any suggestions except to say Wilson does this from time to time too and he's a slow eater. He usually yaks about twice a month it seems.

@jennieco -- you might not have formally said hi but you have chimed in many times with help :D When she first Yorked on the bed I checked for a hair ball. I was wondering if she had finally corned April for a little lick.

Glad I chimed in for help then, lol. :D. Wilson yakked up his food about 3 o'clock in the morning last week. Other than that he was perfectly fine.
