I posted Bella’s tongue picture right after yours.
Someone commented on this thread of mine today. ( I had posted this thread almost two years ago)

I think her underbite has finally stopped growing.

Castor has a much bigger underbite now (he's almost 6) than when he was a pup. And the little string of teeth in the lower jaw has changed too over the years - they now seem smaller or perhaps just covered by his gums.

I am/was a first time EBD owner!
Bella has no underbite when we first got her. That’s why I asked the question! Lol
All of the sudden her lil teefs just popped out!
I believe hers is done growing now ( not too sure about her tongue though!!!) the more tired she is the more it sticks out!

Yes, it's amazing how they change. If I hadn't known it's the same dog, I would have thought the two Castor pics featured different dogs! And the tongue is so funny too, although Castor doesn't have a very long tongue; he's more of a tongue ripple guy!
