I visited England (family) a couple times. Absolutely beautiful especially if you like history. I went out one night to see this local pub. Walk in the pub n everyone orders beers except me as I don’t like beer. I wanted a glass of wine. Lady said go to the bar . So I go to the bar ask for a glass of wine. This older guys probably the owner said ......”we don’t open a bottle for just a glass”. Coming from a big city and never heard of that in my life and figured I must of heard wrongly cause of the harsh accent. So I repeat. He says the same thing. In my head.... so I look at him and said...”Give me the bottle!” I only drank 2glasses n one family member took the bottle brought it home. I didn’t know you can do that either lol
