I'm taking a market analysis course at the moment and have to admit that it's really interesting. One of our projects involves investing with one million 'monopoly' money, where the program enables us to participate in real time scenarios. My group has gained more money that lost, so far. lol.
Has anyone here tried investing independently? If so, do you have any advice?
Of course, I'll start slowly, maybe try the penny stocks first. I remember knowing someone in high school where he'd invest only a couple of hundred every so often and he'd get a nice return after a few months. He was even able finance his car afterwards when he saved enough.
