Some of the other pictures are fur friends that came for the evening and played. We had a wide variety of fur babies here tonight. There ranging from 1.2lbs (Sofie) all the way to 80lbs (Diesel). And they all got along and begged for food together. Oh Jagger drank wine out of a glass by the pool EKKKK!! He loved it. And Diesel stole his Mom's phone and buried it. Luckily when it was called we were able to find it was an entertaining night that's for sure

Awe look at her she looks so happy she looks like she is thinking " don't worry Mom I got this" I am so happy for Ellie she looks well adjusted and happy.

and people ask why there are scratches on my couch - this is the usual wrestle time for Ellie and Jagger. Ellie can get on the couch Jagger can't. This goes on for about 2 hours. Yes that is the crime boss Lucy on the back of the couch

Ellie did so well tonight!!!!! There were times she was a little grumpy nothing really to speak of. She interacted and played great and had so much fun. We did discover she does not like when people go underwater in then pool. She get very upset and whines and growls. While we were in the pool she paced around the pool. In all it was a fun and relaxing night for everyone.Jagger and Cate Ellie

Ellie is definitely loving the back yard. I made her come in because she was getting hot. She whined for almost an hour to go back out. I know she was having fun but its 100 degrees right now well into the evening.

I know its horrible here too!! Sheldon loves to play outside but I can't let him for fear he'll overheat!

The heat is hard on us right now. I can't let them out much during the day cause of the heat. But of the evening the mosquitos are out so bad even with bug spray we can't stay out long.

I've recently read that burning sage drives them away, haven't tried it yet.

Carol I will try almost anything at this point. Even in the pool mosquitos will get on the kids' faces and ears. It's been a hot, moist summer for us. The fur babies have really loves the pool. They just don't like when I make then go in. I'm so afraid they'll over heat. Especially, Ellie since her face is a lot flatter than Jagger's. Ellie will be panting and breather heavy and Jagger won't be panting.
