Saving Ellie

We are going back to the vet this next week. Ellie's leg is fine. But on the back of her neck her hair is thin and spotty I guess I should say. When I first got her - her neck was very bare and she had hot spots and other sores all over her. She doesn't sit and scratch or rub. I'm not for sure if she has allergies like Jagger or some other skin affliction. Right now she is taking Benadryl. Which just that alone is not enough for Jagger. His hair starts falling out BAD if he doesn't get his medicine. I think this may also be Ellie's problem. Sigh I definitely have some high maintenance babies. Between the food and allergy meds they really cut into my shoe budget lol

This is what her neck looked like when I first got her. Her neck no longer has any sores. But the hair is thin - it almost looks like scars.

They don't get told no often. Jagger always gives us that toothy, tongue sticking out look and we just crack up. Ellie always give the poor me look and they usually get what they want. My husband really melts when they do it to him He complains that Jagger hogs the bed but I know he really loves it.

Ellie won't sleep in the bed at night. She wants her own bed. Which is right on the floor by my side of the bed. She will nap in the bed or in the recliner. She loves when the girls make blanket forts and they sleep in the living room. She will sleep in there with them all night
