Welcome!! The same thing happened with my EB when he was a puppy. I use to tell people that they could only meet Curly if they told him a command and he followed through. That way you are having them help train your pup some examples would be sit stay and come.

And don't be afraid to tell people no that can't meet him if she is being bad too. One time curly refused to go on a walk and these people want to say hi and I told them that he couldn't say hi right now because he was in the middle of training. They were kind of offended but at the end of the day I was the one who would have to deal with him being bad not them lol. I miss when he was a tiny brat
