Lxating Patellas

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with luxating patellas??? Just found yesterday that Mr.Louie has this on both of his back legs....he is only 10 months old. Any info would be great...we have started him on joint supplements too.

Nitshcke had one on his back leg.... I think surgery is an option, but we just did Glucosamine (sp) with him and when it 'popped' out of place my b/f knew how to put it back

I know a human that had this problem in one of her knees..used a brace...no doggy experience tho..poor Louie....

its difficult as your bully is still a baby,a good joint support as stated above and try plenty of rest hopefully there will be some repair,an op at this age is risky but sometimes cannot be avoided ,karen
