Last night, as I posted, Louise was panting 3-4 times the respirations as Chief was. Her mouth was wide open, tongue out, and she was just struggling. She would lie down and not be able to get comfortable and move to a different spot on the couch and she just did that for a long time. I tried to get her to lie on my lap like she normally does but she was a bit panicked it seemed, and she’d get up and turn circles and go somewhere else.
Today she is so much better. I know that with her hypoplastic trachea diagnosis, her prognosis is not good. But I’m still celebrating her good days and not giving up on her. She and Chief have been playing and Louise has been eating well. Especially her yogurt and cottage cheese, of course!
