Uni throws up kinda a lot. I suspect her pallet to be the problem. She will be playing and running then she will give kinda of a cough and a gag then sometimes barf. She does this almost ever time she gets real excited. Is this normal for a bully? Should I have a specialist look at her pallet, I have had the vet tell me that it is not bad for a bull dog but also said that the pallet my elongate with age. She has just now turned one year.

Funny you should ask this question. The Abby-monster threw up today all over everything. I don't know why.

I would have her pallet chcked.... Nitshcke was like this prior to his pallet reduction; once that was done him throwing up was rare.

Frank does if he is particularly phlegmy. Or if he licks himself and gets hair stuck in his throat. Or if he eats too big a treat and doesn't chew it, it will sit in his stomach a while, then he will barf it up.

they can randomly throw up or get phlemy but I would think if this happens regularly then it probably is the pallet. Miila was a phlemy mess before her surgery. Not the throwing up all the time but just gagging etc. She is better now, just the random gag, throw up like Cutty.

sarah almost never throws up. she does cough some when she is eating her canned food sometimes but not throw up
