@JAKEISGREAT,@2bullymoma @Texas Carol, I am NOT giving up on my baby, I had her vet call in the Gabapentin. She had her 1st dose last night and 2nd this morning. I am NOT letting her go without a fight.. so, I should know if its going to work within a few days?

I never thought you would, Honey, nor do I think anyone else thought you would give up.

We all understand just how much these precious bullies mean to us.

It might take a week to get in her system well but hopefully she'll get relief in 2-3 days.

I use a Joint supplement in Horse strength. My vet has approved it and it's been 1-1/2 years since we started it. I give them a fraction of the doseage for a horse, by eyedropper on their food. about 8 drops a day on their dinner. It's called Regenex for horses. they also make one for canine, but I like the one for horses, especially with 5 dogs, 32 oz bottle kept in the fridge goes a long way. you can get it on Amazon . Just my 2 cents honey if you were looking for a stronger supplement. They should have about 1500 mg a day and it takes about 4 weeks for it to take affect .

I really hope it's not hip dysplasia

Its like the specialist looked at me like I was insane to want to try anything after all they told me. and I said ya know, im not letting go or giving up I will try to figure out something on my own. He wouldn't even give me the script of the gabaoentin, he told me to call her primary vet because he doesn't want me looking at him as the bad guys in the end because he didn't say something... I really apologize that yall thought I met that you guys thought I was giving up on her IF IT WOULDN'T have been for yall, I DONT know what I would have done... Honestly you are ALL great supporters and I APPRECITE IT.

also they asked me if she was ever diagnosed with a heart murmur... I said no this is the 1st time shes EVER had anything wrong.... I just feel left with no answers from specialist that charged me an arm and leg and no more help that when I went there...

Please..no worries! You have enough on your plate. I just didn't want you to feel I would ever judge your decisions. Just focus on yourself and Frankie.

I would contact that specialists and ask for A diagnosis..and an explanation as to the heart murmur question. How can you weigh your options with zero help from someone who charged you for info!

Awww Sweetie...you are in shock and who wouldn't be after going thru all this
then getting this devastating dx. We LOVE you and we support anything you decide,
never judging because we don't know your life, we aren't walking in your shoes.
Our hearts are heavy as we absorb this terrible news and wishing we could do
something...anything to change it for Frankie and for you. I'm saying 'we' because
I've spent a year here with these people after several tragedies of my own and I
know their hearts. Full of nothing but loving kindness & goodness for one & all.

Know that we are here every step of this journey and will support YOUR decisions
as it unfolds. It truly rests in GOD's hands as to what will be so who's to know the
end result? It is up to you and us too to have faith & trust and just do the very best
we can do, each & every day. That is all any of us can do!

Please rest in the assurance you are one of us & won't go thru whatever may come,
alone. Be gentle with yourself & take care of you as you would for a much loved friend
or family member. Your family & Frankie need you to be the calm in the storm's center.
Somehow our job as women is to be the heart of the family and when we fall apart so
