Dog bowls

Has anyone tried a Fluff Trough elevated bowl? If so, what is your opinion on its value for our flat-faced dogs? https://www.flufftrough.com/collections/pet-feeder
Elevated bowls need to be taken with precaution. It can cause bloating especially tall dogs. I’m NOT saying it will but that’s me. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Search Assist: “Yes, elevated dog bowls may actually increase the risk of bloat, especially in large and giant-breed dogs. Recent studies suggest that using raised feeders can double the risk of developing this serious condition compared to feeding from bowls on the floor.”

Never used them, and probably never will. Although I do know a few people do, but not for me or my dogs.

Never used them… my two get raw and Cubby is a real messy eater— it would be all over 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

I used it for Nyala and Jake but the bottom of the bowls were 3” from the floor. Nyala was a slow eater and on the floor, if she raised her head to look around, Jake would moved her and stick his head in her bowl. In their small raised, he didn’t. Why I have no clue. Only on the floor. The ones that knew Jake, he was a special little brat. And Sadie, my GS, she’s tall and hers too is almost on the floor. She drinks like a cow and licks her food bowl like she’s going to remove the stainless. That bowl ends up everywhere. I know right? Lol
