Do you feed Dry Kibble, Canned, Raw/Cooked Meat or some of all?

You can give any raw meat you want except pork, just not too much at a time to a puppy who’s not used to it or he’ll get diarrhea. Fish is good too (salmon and mackeral, e.g.) but it should be cooked.

Hi we feed a premium food and its Lamb rice and millet. We also put add wild alaskan Salmon oil (cause if its not wild alaskan it contains mercery) wheat germ oil, honey, plain yogurt, and organic sea kelp. They love it..

Emangan: Forget pumpkin til the new fall crop. I'm in the Phoenix area too and there isn't any because the spring crop had a fungus. I tried to find some recently and everywhere I checked said the same thing. But I've heard plain yogart is also very good for them and the gal at Trader Joe said to use Sweet Potato puree would be about the same thing. I'm not sure if this is true, but can't hurt. I bet they'd love it.

Cali-Jenn: Can they have the fish oil pills like we take? Sort of a gell-cap? Do you open those and put the oil on their food? I got salmon oil at Petco and it cost a fortune!

Reggie is 9months and has Orijen complete dry twice daily. It's the BARF diet but in a dry kibble of 70% meat 30% seasonal veg & fruit - no cereal. I shopped around for it as my breeder recommended the bones and raw food diet but I really didn't want to cook up tripe daily and don't have freezer space for batch cooking. It comes in 3 varieties of wild caught salmon and other fish, bison and other red meat or poultry. It's made in Canada but I can get it from specialist suppliers in the UK. Reg loves it.
I did use a topper when Reg was teething and went off his kibble for a couple of days. I was climbing the walls because he wasn't eating so my trainer recommended that I put a little canned Butchers Tripe for puppies just to get him interested again. Worked a treat but due to the disgusting wind it gave him afterwards I stopped it pretty quickly as although he wolfed it down it clearly wasn't good for his tummy - or human companions! Now he's past the teething stage I use dried chicken breast or venison as training treats and saw someone else give a carrot on the site to their bulldog. Tried it and Reg thought it was great!

Yes I just buy the regular fish oil pills like we would take and give them every other day or so. I dont split them open my boiys actually eat them straight thinking they are also a cookie. Gross as it sounds to me but hey they like it. lol.
