i have come to realize I chose a very popular name for my bully...lol....

That's okay, their all their own Lucy's and they are all beautiful bullies. I thought I had a original name Blossom, but I've heard her name Twice since I got her.

I, for one, would never name my bully Lucy. I guess that is because that is my name, ha ha ha. Mine is Liz and just about any electrician or workman we have at our house says his girlfriend is named Liz.

I changed the spelling..well my husband always spelled it with an I, so I will too...Just to make it her "own" I call her Luci Jo...

We didn't name our bullie girl Lucy, although one of our bostons is Lucy Loo

awwww.I was calling her Lucy Lou and then Lucy goosey and ..now its Luci Jo ....lol

Hubby just named our newly adopted male "Bulldozer" so you have all the support in the world! Sometimes you just gotta go with what works

My daughter wanted to name her "angel Lucy salt lick" we went with Lucy.
