Blister-like thing in Mouth

She flinches every time I try and touch near them. Flinches isn't the right word. She doesn't like me touching them and tries to move her head away. I'm sitting in an exam room at the vet now waiting. I hope it's nothing serious. I can deal with the warts.

The verdict. Puppy warts. The vet said to just watch it and make sure it doesn't get bigger or infected. She said not to squeeze and pop it because that could lead it to getting infected.

View attachment 76693View attachment 76694It looks a lot like the puppy warts my Ruckus had when he was little. I attached a few pictures. I rushed him to the vet who told me they just go away on their own, so it was kind of a waste of a visit, but I had never seen it before. I did some research and I put a few drops of Thuja extract in his food (purchased from Whole Foods, but I think you can also get it on amazon) every other day and I also squeezed them and made them pop...I know it sounds mean but the vet recommended it saying that it causes the body to fight the virus quicker. I'm not sure if that was what helped but he didn't seem to feel me doing it and they did go away quicker than predicted.

Because I forgot to as the Vet, how long did it take for them to go away?

So, they got worse before they got better. The vet had told me it could take up to 6 months but I think in Ruckus's case they were gone in 2.5 months.

My poor girl won't be able to go play for awhile. Poor girl. I hope it gets better in the 2.5 month timeline and not the 6.

How is she doing??? Any better? I hope they're smaller by now!

So weird thing...within a week or two they were gone. So I'm wondering if the vet was wrong. I didn't get a second opinion and she wasn't tested for them.

But they're gone.

We are dealing with seasonal alopecia right now though. With some antihistamine's and a new food, she's doing better.

Aww, I hope the skin allergies clear up soon. At least the warts are gone so she can socialize and play!

I thought it was weird too. That's why I think the vet may have been incorrect. But at least they're gone and she can play again.
