Auntie Barbie's Visit

The drive to get Bea was an 8 hour excursion to the gorgeous Canadian / Idaho border. My best pal Barbara drove. Grandma rode shotgun. I sat in the back with all the baby accoutrements required for such an audacious journey. Picture three "older" gals as excited as tweeners at a Justin Beiber concert. I mean. We were PUMPED. We slept at a hotel in Spokane and were at the breeder's house at 10AM sharp (OK, we were early). Barbara often reflects on that trip and how much fun we had. She has a special connection with Bea for this reason. She was just here for six days visiting and got some action shots of her "niece and nephew". For the record, upon her arrival, Auntie Barbie was a splendid pack leader, adhereing to the "no touch, no talk, no eye contact" rule, until the dogs were calm. (It just about killed her to do that!)
