Anal gland erupt

Happy that Pork Chop is recovering ok. Years ago I had a dog whose anal abcessed like that. I felt like such a bad Mom. Some dogs hardly ever have anal problems, and some need expressing pretty frequently. Hope she continues to do well. Ouch!

The weird part was about a month ago, I took her to the vet for anal glands expressed bec she would scoot on her butt in a circle and they found nothing . Then, this happened odd to me.

I take Jasmine to vet once a month to get nails trimmed and glands busted,if they have allergies the glands can get infected,so far no problems.its cheap and takes them maybe 5 mins,glad your baby is better

Once a month to express anal glands? I am new to this sort of thing . Pork Chop is much better thank you

I'm glad pork chop is better,but yes once a month,and they are always full! Guess depending on how severe their allergies are..

I am going to need to check this out and see what the vet says. She's my first dog.
