Wondering if there are any 5K walks in regards to the awareness and prevention of puppy mills? That would be something I would be interested in doing with my family.

Not directly linked to puppy mill awareness/prevention, but there's a Wiggle Walk Walk annually in various cities that helps a lot of pets that are products of puppy mills. Something you might want to do w/your family. There's one coming up in my area on 9/30/12 at the Rose Bowl.
