  • Hello from me and my bullie DaiseyMae. She is a 6yr old rescue, who was abused and used as a bait dog. Now she is in a loving home and spoiled rotten. She is my first bullie I have ever owned. So I look forward to reading here a lot. Anyone who knows how I can make her more playful? She is very loving towards me but not playful. Unfortunately she does spend the majority of the day by herself due to my job. But she is good and not destructive.
I have had no responses from my post. Did I do something wrong? I need some feedback with my 7 month old puppy limping. thank you.
Hello Calibaker. Im having trouble trying to post my thread about my Bully's cherry eye. I read the tutorial but I must be missing something.
Please read my post about electric fence ....I did not come to this forum to be bullied by many dogs. I came because I got a Bulldog puppy rescue with a leaky heart and skin issues . Needed help with both . I believe that if you have something negative to say , do it in a private message , NOT as a public shame on you for picking on little old me . LOL thanks for listening.
Oh Finn... I swear they keep you on your toes. With us its always something. Allergies, belly, itchy, I mean if a day goes by with nothing - I'm shocked. LOL I'm sure Finn will be fine, however maybe he'll need to be restricted to lower surfaces (no bed, couch, etc) bc that could aggravate whatever underlying issue he may have. If he's doing okay walking, etc. Rest him up, warm compresses, I'll be praying for him! If you are seeing diarrhea, double up the probitoic for a day to see if it helps! xoxo Hugs!
Hi thank for welcoming I really appreciate it .. & thanks in advance for offering help & telling me how to post n send messages .. I already like this site 😊
Just checking in Henny - are the boys back to "normal" in the poop dept. - hope all is well :)
    G'morning Everyone!

We just got Moose two days ago. So far love & affection have conquered everything negative that the previous owner warned us about, YAY!!! But now we have a question. We noticed a booboo on each of her hind paws. They're in an odd spot, so we're confused. They're not on the walking part, they're on the very back almost like they're rug burns from rolling around on the carpet or couch. How would we treat these and prevent them from happening again?

We don't know much about her previous living conditions, we're assuming they weren't super great. We're also assuming that they got her to have puppies, then didn't need her anymore. She's about a year old, maybe up to 16 months, we guess. Is it possible that she just hasn't built any callouses yet? You know, like she was a baby and kept in a kennel or kitchen & just didn't have a chance to toughen them yet?

The booboos don't seem to bother... YET. We just don't wan them to get that way.

    Thank you already!
