Lol; She got the name Ruby for two reasons. First Amber's name was a precious stone and we wanted to stay with precious stone names and the name Ruby fit together with the name Amber. Second a woman that has been like a mother to me for the past 25 years is named Ruby. When I told her we were using that name for Amber's sister she was so excited. Not too many folks name their pets Amber or Ruby. When I am talking about them the folks at my work always think I have 3 skin children because of their names and laugh when I tell them Amber and Ruby are the fur babies and Kristana is our skin daughter.
