Yes, had standing water in my yard when temps dropped and it's stayed
wet which became sleet & ice. I've got to get out tomorrow as Cami needs
food. Aaron has known this a week before she ran out, he can go out EVERY
night in this mess but can't be bothered to p/up her food. He left the brand
new lawn mower out & didn't put antifreeze in the '81 Vette, which is outside
because my garage is full of his apt he had before he moved in here. I prayed
over it all (didn't know ANY of this until too late) and really...I'm too burnt out
to care about anything any more. There's hope for your son, he's got you & Hubby
as a team, pulling for him and he's so young. Aaron is now 26 and honestly...I don't
think he'll change, I think he's a true narcissist, I see no caring at all for anyone or
anything BUT himself. As you can tell, I'm losing faith (a terrible thing).

We're doing okay, trying to stay in, it was only *28 yesterday with
*19 last night (altho we had a *12, brrrrr. We're supposed to warm
up in to the low *30's for next 3 days then warm up. Don'cha know
these Northerners & Canadians are laughing their butts off at us!

Hope your son is doing better, mine just let me down majorly and I
again, let him know, he's moving Jan 1st, I can't deal with it anymore.
Guess Christmas will be rotten this year too. I put out Christmas decor
& a wreath on my door but decided against putting up my 9 ft tree, it's
not going to help I'm okay tho, just going to keep going even if I slow
to a crawl, lol Glad y'all are all okay!

We are doing well here. Luckily our electricity has only went off for a couple of minutes at a time, but has been on for the most part. My Grandmother's electricity came back on yesterday afternoon, so we took her home. My mother and brother are still without electricity and mom is still staying here. My brother has a hotel room for now (he gets up at 2:00 am for work and is afraid that he will wake us up - I tried to convince him to stay and save the money, but he wouldn't). However, we may have his youngest daughter staying with us, starting tonight. It will be easier for my mom to run her to school on her way to work from here that way. Cooking stew for everyone now. I had planned on going Christmas shopping this weekend
