Sweet Potato ... anybody use this??

I am having trouble getting Linus back to a weight I'm happy with. We have done the Fromm Puppy food and he did put a bit on but I was happier having him on the 4*range so once the bag was finished I switched him back.

He has 1/2 cup Fromm and a LARGE 3/4 cup of home cooked twice a day.
[MENTION=4225]Twice[/MENTION] and [MENTION=2291]cowsmom[/MENTION] have suggested using cooked sweet potato as a topping to help him gain weight. But, I'm unsure if I should be giving him the skin too or just the flesh.

Anybody use sweet potato and how do they serve it???

[MENTION=959]kazzy220[/MENTION] - when I cook for my crew I will use sweet potato because they love it so much and I just blend the whole thing up, the skin is tough so I use the blender on it otherwise they tend to spit it out.

Buy organic because sweet potatoes & potatoes are heavily pesticided.

Thanks everybody ... I think I'll zap them in the microwave and chop them up so I can spoon it on top!!!
