Cash and his allergies

So Cash is one year old. He gets super congested sounding almost coughing like or sounds like someone trying to clear their throat. His lips and jowls get super red weird that it mainly is in the evening. I have tried OTC zyrtec with not much luck or relief for Cash. Any ideas out there? I have him on salmon and brown rice food!

It could be environmental, it also possibly the protein in the food. Have you tried Claritin? Claritin didn’t work for my guy, but Zyrtec did, sometimes you have to try other OTC.

I get allergy shots, and my allergist suggested Xyzal when I have a flare up... I also give that to Walter on his worst allergy days. He also gets a Cytopoint injection about every couple of months to help... he has horrible allergies.

My daughter told me fish oil helps with allergies. We have both of our bulldogs on it and it has helped.
