Why is science diet dog food bad for my dog?

Science diet is a great food to address an issue for a short period of time. They are not really meant to be long term / daily food..... also, most vets 'push' these prescription fodds becasue they get kick backs for the companies, the more they sell the more they make. And, when the vet is in school, nutrition is not on ht elist for learning, nor do they have the time for the additional education, so most are lacking in this knowledge... NOT ALL, but the majority.
