A royal cold

Kelly,,,, if it was fresh water your nitrate problem would go away with a water change but I know you don't do that with salt so I can't help you with that. Salt tanks are beautiful!!

BruceP, yes we do the same thing! With the nitrate problem we have done TWO half tank changes. And the nitrates are still higher than we like. The fish are doing OK but we have to add copper to de-stress them. It is just never ending. And what a pain to gather 5-5 gal. buckets to go buy salt water and do the change! We are, well Joe is SERIOUSLY considering selling it off.

i was wondering KMARINO do salt water tanks have filters like fresh water tanks. i ask because we were having touble with our tank and found out that our filter system was not near enough what we needed for our oscar and pleco and that i believe something was going on with the well water. i was wondering if the salt water is tested before you bring it back and if your filter system is good enough. sorry for barging in but has just had my own troubles here recently with my fish.

Banks has never had a cold, but Nitschke got them often. Bed rest is it... we would wrap him in covers and he'd sleep pretty much 23 hours out of the day.

I've never heard of a dog getting a cold ... but reading some of your posts I guess it can and does happen!!

Our neighbors dog got kennel cough, I researched it and it's just like a common cold humans get. You give them the boardatella shot and in a few days it's gone.

Just snapped,,,,, HRH working on fighting her cold this afternoon.
