How much Benadryl can a 29.2 lb puppy take and can they take the capsules instead of the caplets which were delivered to me by mistake. Also can she be allergic the the benadryl since the allergy got worse after taking it. Help Please! Also her face is swollen and has red lumps around her eyes and mouth.

This is a great article. But after racing my 10 month old Maya to the Emergency Clinic for a shot and having my own vet see her yesterday (both prescribing Benadryl) the welts returned early this morning. Her sister same age has no symptoms. After giving her Benadryl caplet at 10 am by noon they had grown larger. No change in diet Solid Gold SunRise Gluten Free after slowly weaning from SG puppy food. I am scared for her and its a holiday weekend. I keep calling everyone, the EMR said to call my vet which I already had today and have still not got a response. Do you have any immediate suggestions as time is running out EST. Many Thanks!!!
