Thank you for the welcome Cali. I have a Bulldog from a friend whos son owned. When her son passed away 4 yrs. ago she asked me if I wanted Max or she would put him down. I had not seen Max in about 4 or 5 yrs. When I saw him I was in shock. He was about 30 lbs. overweight, his ears were infected from allergies and he could hardly breathe. I took him home and called my vet who came to the house, cleaned his eyes gave him an allergy shot, and I started him on a wheat,corn,gluten free diet. He lost the 30 lbs. allergies are in check, and he plays with my Chiweenie and cat like a young pup. So April we will celebrate his 12th birthday.

Henny: Thank you for the welcome--I appreciate it! I have a soon to be 6 month male puppy, Apollo, that is my baby and I am over the moon in love with him! He is the sweetest baby. I have several questions about his care that I need assistance with so I am grateful for this forum and website! I want to make sure I am giving him the best care possible.

Hi Henry. I am going to be out of town for 7 days and have never left my bull dog for more than several hours. I plan on finding a pet sitter but am worried about leaving my pet. Any advice?

Hi Henry, I sat up until 3am looking at every site going, I gave her some milk and olive oil it done the trick. I don't tend to give her biscuits she has rice or boiled potatoes mixed with either fish or fresh meat and cod liver oil. What do you feed yours? :-)

HI Henry, I am having real trouble at the moment, my british bull seems to be constipated, she has a diet of rice/small handful varied biscuit with either fresh fish or various meats. I am extremely concerned tonight!!! She is struggling to go to the toilet but has not vomited is drinking well and has still eaten. She has had cod liver oil and milk, any suggestions?

P.s I do apologise for not introducing myself at this moment in time but I'm just extremely concerned at the mo :-(

Hi, and nice to meet you! I'm glad to see others on here with bullies about the same age as my Jackson (he will be 7 months on Monday!) We have bully experience, but our last guy was rescued at age 4, so the puppy thing is new to us. Glad to know there is a place to go for info and insight!
