Yes I'm on holiday until the 14th! and it is wonderful! :D I think that it seems hotter because the humidity is so high I cannot believe how thick the marine layer is over here until about 10, never remember it so thick like that in July I so hope that when you get home Finn will be fine. I never knew that you too were planning to put them on the NuVet stuff. I was going to do it a while back but didn't because of the price but I have read so many good things about it that I have to do it now. Our one Pug had terrible arthritis when she got older and if this will help keep the Bust in good health hopefully for a very long time to come then I'm all in.

Roxie started on the Adequan, and she got an anti-inflammatory & pain-med. She wants her to start getting 2 injections a week with the goal being once a month. She wants to get her inflammation & pain levels down… I hope that she starts feeling like her ol' self again. I have to give her the shots at home, so hopefully that won't be too complicated… Lol I ran in BC today, just 2 laps around the building and I didn't stop today… YAY!!! It was brutal today, a lot of sit-ups, planks, and arm work. I'm feeling a lot stronger, I just want to start seeing the weight fall off… Lol I think I ran wrong too when I was younger. Paying the price for that… Your neighborhood sounds awesome, do you have nice neighbors? I would stay home for the forth if I was you, sounds fun!!! Our subdivision is new, so I don't know many of my neighbors yet. Our house is by itself on the hill, but they are building two houses right now.

I'm going to call the vets this morning… hopefully we can get started on the injections.

WOW Henny our stories are so similar… I used to run in HS, and my knees are horrid… especially my left knee. I have found that for me if my legs are STRONG my knees don't hurt as bad. I wear a knee brace when I go to BC, so I remember not to get too crazy. My trainer Courtney is really good about reminding me to be mindful of my knees. We do run at BC, but not very long and I do a very SLOW jog… Lol Honestly what hurts me knees the most are squats… they just about kill me!!!

I haven't done the mud run yet, but they have had them here… I'm trying to get my endurance up before that… they look like fun!!!

We are having a cookout on the 4th w/some of Ray's family… he has an uncle here in Nashville @Vandy waiting for a heart transplant. He's been here for months, so him and his wife are coming to our house on Friday. I may invite some friends, but it may just be family this time.

Roxie was in a lot of pain this morning, she growled at Wally pretty badly this morning… I feel bad, poor Wally doesn't understand I gave her a muscle relaxer, and she seems to be doing better. I'm going to call the vet tomorrow, and see if she can be seen. I just hope that it makes her feel better. I had totally planned to get carrots at the FM, but they didn't have any… bummer!!! I have never had swiss chard before, but I'm going to buy some kale. Your day sounded awesome, I'm so jealous about your new coffee shop… we only have a couple of shops here in town. I do burpees in BC, and they just about KILL ME!!! Good for you Henny for starting a workout plan… I've been doing BC for about 6 weeks now, and I feel so much better. Trying to get my knees to work better… it's gonna take some time. Hope you are enjoying your Sunday :D

Yes Henny, I do know someone you know! LOL...I can't wait to see you and the boys again! I have to your check out your site Phil's always telling me about all the delicious stuff you make, and the Kale OMG! I love , love kale. I just made some kale chips in my dehydrator.

I think that Roxie is fine, but I have a feeling that we need to start the Adequan injections for her. She's not been as active as she normally is, and Dr. Fant said she was favoring her left hip Your day sounds fun, enjoy that massage!!! The dogs let me sleep in till 630am today… Lol We are going to the farmers market here, and we are taking the dogs. Now that I have that wagon for Wally, he can just ride. We are trying to socialize him as much as possible instead of hitting the dog parks. He did great the other day at Petsmart & Petco. Me & the hubby are going out tonight w/out KIDS!!! I'm in the mood for sushi, so we have a place that we LOVE to go!!! Enjoy your day!!!

Oh my goodness… Thanks Henny, I'm going to totally try that. I've been wanting to get back on the food forum, but w/our stupid internet issues lately I'm hoping to catch up on there this weekend. Roxie woke me up at 530am this morning hacking… Ugh, so wanted to sleep in. We had a great day at the zoo yesterday… Today I'm off to bootcamp, and then I'm not sure what we are doing this weekend. The hubby & I need a date night, and a break from the kids… what are your weekend plans so far?!!
