  • Good Afternoon, I noticed that the icon above says Contest-Events. I have a all breed event and would like to network. What are the guidelines?
    Hi Cali;
    Thanks for the warm welcome, so happy to have discovered this forum. Currently we've two bullies, a rescue about 7 yrs. old and a 12-week old sweetie!
    Hi thanks that's so nice of you, a little daunting being a newbie!! I just posted a thread, I'm hoping for some advice, I currently have my neighbours beautiful bulldog girl, Maggie, on a trail basis but I'm hoping to give her a forever home here :-)
    Hi, Cali. I'm trying to get suggestions on an infected tail pocket. I do not want to do the surgery to remove the tail bone as stated that was the only other option other than what I have used. First, I flushed Hydrogen Peroxide followed by Genesis topical spray flushed into the tail pocket. This was every other day for a month. The other day I used Resicort. No decrease in the infection/odor. I then went to another vet who prescribed a daily flushing of Malacetic which is antimicrobial with a drying agent. Still no decrease in infection/odor. Too many things can go wrong with the surgery and with my luck and all Louie has gone thru in 4 years, I do not want to put him thru it. I'm new to the forum and would like to know if anyone has any suggestions.
    Thank you for the welcome! I have owned 2 bully girls that have since passed. I will be heading to WV next weekend to get my first baby boy bully. We was left behind by his owner and was found by the landlord days later with no food or water. I am so anxious to get the little guy home with me. I am going to name him Chumlee. I do have one question for you all....they are estimating that he is approximately 5-6 months old. Since it has been so long since I have owned a bully pup, was wondering what some of you recommend what dog food to start him on. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Again, thanks for letting me be a member of this forum.
    No he really didn't but we were playing with his toy cat at the time. When we had Pugs before I could always tell when we were going to have one because they got super clingy and had to be on you practically.
    That's exactly what I was thinking this morning, I have to do that too. You have to youtube KTLA news and today's date to see what they did when it hit, the look on the guys face is classic! It really felt like a bomb went off, the whole house just jumped, :w00t: I made a dive at Buster and held him while it was going on. They are calling it the Shamrock Shake!!! :ROFL:
    Don't feel bad!! I remember you saying you didnt know about the birthday party. You have a wonderful warm day too with your 2 HANDSOME boys! :sunny::sunny::sunny:
    That's to much for one weekend, would have been nice but I know how hard it is to leave the boys alone. I feel guilty when we're gone for a couple of hours! It's 88 over here and it's still winter. LOL!
    New to this site, have a 2yr old Spoiled EB "the Count" hes a great stubborn boy! Looking fwd to bulldog conversation
    I remember Schindler! I love Conway too, I used to listen to him on klsx before they changed the format, I've got it on all day, haven't heard the Hoffman show yet because I get in to late but I love Handel and John and Ken get me laughing so hard sometimes, it makes for a better day for sure. I completely forgot about the extra sun in the afternoon, wooohooo!! I can take the Buster to the park after work! :D;)
