Isn't this your last week before regular schedules start for everyone
or was that THIS week for you? I'm not hitting on all 12 cylinders for
a while now and especially since putting CoCo to sleep last week. I
swear I heard her crying a couple days later, more than once. Just broke
me up and reminded me again how much loss takes from us, how much it
hurts to lose loved ones & how it takes time (lots & lots) to come to terms
with their absence from our lives. I thought I'd prepared myself (and I had)
to do it BUT I guess you can't prepare your heart from breaking with each
death. Life is so hard to live sometimes.

Thanks so much, Tracey! This morning Finn was especially cuddly and didn't want to get out of bed. I kept giving him tummy rubs (we call them "rubby wubbies", lol)! I will send him off tonight to spend the night at the vet's...that part worries me b/c i don't like him being alone. I hope he won't have to stay over on Thurs night but whatever they need to do and if they need to monitor him further, that's fine with me. I will have a few days off after tomorrow to help him recover. I will definitely keep you posted. Thanks again, my friend.

I am worried about my knees as well....we shall see. Hubby was big into track and cross country.....even ran on the cc team in college. He is about 18 years older than me and can run circles around me......I am so out of shape! We are going to do the Atkins diet. I am not one to diet, but hubby wants to lose weight, so I told him that I would do it with him. I recently quit drinking soft drinks and lost 20 lbs, but if I continue not drinking them, I will continue to lose, eating exactly what I want. I am sure it will be nice having Marcus around. I know you all miss Winston terribly I am not sure what I had.....it started out with vomiting and then turned into fever and respiratory crap. That is an odd combination, but many people in this area are experiencing the same combination of symptoms. I am just glad that I am feeling better....still very congested, but no fever and no achy body.

Oh, the gym!!! That is a dirty word....LOL I am so out of shape Hubby and I are planning on starting the Couch to 5K together and going on a diet as soon as I am completely recovered. I am much better, but still don't feel 100%, so I will probably wait until next week. Eating chips and salsa as I type....no need to worry about calories this week Yes, both of the girls are back in school. PK is staying at home again and driving back and forth. She and her boyfriend broke up. They didn't live together, but she is just needing extra attention from Mom & Dad right now. Kealey started classes on Monday. Strangely quiet around here, since we had a couple of weeks with both of the girls again. Busy is slow....it always is after Christmas, so I am trying to get some advertising, etc set up for the Mother's Day season.

A Debbie Downer...... I can use all the tips and advice I can get. This entire journey is new to me and I'm learning as I go. So with that I say thank you!

Oh gosh, I'm not doing the work, I'm paying someone else to do it. I'm glad you said that. I get so dog minded that I forget these are for cats too. My cousin emailed me back today too and said the same thing that I needed a cat on the front too. :D

I'm still busy with the wings... the paper mache is SUCH A MISSION I'm almost done with both wings though, just some patching up to do and then I can start with the fun part I'll update as usual on FB Riaan started working again today so I've been so busy with laundry, dishes and cleaning up. Got a bit lazy during the holiday so I'm behind with a lot of things The grass in the garden is basically reaching to my knees and Bennie doesn't wanna walk in it, LOL. I can barely get him to get out of the house nowadays Have to mow the lawn but it's so darn hot. Boeboe is doing well, I think she's just SO bored I can see she's frustrated but I can't let her be outside by herself or play with the others yet. It's still a little over a week left, then she can start running again. She's limping of course but she moves around a lot and it doesn't seem like she's hurting
