  • She was almost 2,000. The total amount includes her cryosurgery, spay n palate surgery, dr visits for her eyes before and after surgery, dr visits for when she had pneumonia and the trachea bacterial infection etc. she has had many trips to specialists so cost is more. Don't forget the stupid vet that made me bring her in Every 2 days for 2 weeks to stain her eyes..that was 115 every 2 days...for nothing. I was hoping for a vet free break...but I guess I'll have to wait longer for that. I'm am on east coast, wonder y they r cheaper? Although I do t think she was very cheap lol
Guy goes back yo teaching tomorrow. Well, teachers work day, and Kyan starts back school Tuesday as well. I miss snow. I love the cold much more thn the heat. We have easily spent between 10-15,000 so far w Brie. Such an investment!
We would just put Brie on it. I'll research it n show it to my hubby. It is a good idea I think. Do u have snow yet?
No, we never got it n I'm not sure they will cover preexisting conditions. How much is the insurance? We just had yo switch ours as the stare no longer uses uhc. Our cost for insurance went up, the company's went up but the benefits wrnt down. Wth is that? I'll look into the one you have if you feel it is good. I hope it civets all that stuff for you. Her surgery would be about 1000 but thn of course there is the several follow ups at a 100 a pop n the medicines etc.
At her follow up visits, they said hairs were back but soft n not bothering her at the time. My gut tells me the hairs are starting to bother her again, but, it isn't entropian, it is dystichia where the hairs grow o. The inside lid m poke the rye. Very painful n cause ulcers. I'm going to ask about plucking the hairs if they are the cause. But if it is that again, worst case she will need cryosurgery again which I'm petrified of as you know. Ughhhh it's always something isn't it. My hubby is concerned about another vet bill when we have my surgery to deal w.
No, she gets tramadol for pain. I'm to see the dr jan 16 n then they will give me surgery date. It hurts because it is swollen and the vein is hard from the clots. Supposedly the surgery is easy. I'm really starting to worry about Brie n her eyes. I can't do anything til Monday but does that shop me to. Worrying? No... I've give. Her 2 doses of this eye drop stuff n no change at all.
Oops, I nvr answered your question about surgery. For dome reason I thought you forgot about Brie's cryosurgery.lol. I have blood volts in a vericose vein so they want to remove it before it spreads to deeper veins. Yaay for genetics.
Will they do it at 9 if never before? Maybe she will b ok w it since it is a diff breed. I wouldn't blame u a bit if u chose not up tho. My 14 1/2 yo shiba inu Loki is not doing well. She is just very old, not social, hunched n can barely walk these days. She poops w out realizing it...wherever n whenever... N walks a lil sideways. She keeps slipping n falling. Her back legs are so stiff :( poor thing. But, she still eats n drinks n gets around to a degree.
All the blinking she is going could b allergies, but it just feels so familiar from whn we ended up having to do the cryosurgery. If these drops font help I'm taking her to vet on Monday. Ughhhh... Can't u just brush her teeth instead of the cleaning?
Hey hey! Just logged in for the first time in ages! I hope you're doing fabulous and had a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Our little ones are getting soooooo big! It's unreal. Porter is still working on the potty training, and Gracie Mae has it down to an art. :) She ended up needing surgery with the lump on her tummy, but our vet is a Godsend. She woke up the following Saturday with it being big and inflamed, he was texting me and called in a RX to Walgreens. Surgery the next day! He said she had a reaction to the sutures the previous vet used, but she's totally great now! And don't worry, they weren't exposed to anything until ALL of their shots were given. They weren't even taken to our moms! :) I hope all is well! I will have to get some pics up soon.
We are good, managing as usual. hubby's arthritis had been kicking up, Kyan has been going through some growing pains n I'm just waiting for the stupid surgery date god my vein. Brie is still feisty but I'm trying to keep it controlled around Gimli. She is such a byatch..lol her eye blinking is driving nuts tho n making me worried I don't see any sores or anything but it just feels all too familiar. We r trying antihistamine eye drops to see if that helps. If by Monday it isn't better it's back to the damn vet again. I was a wreck before, as u know, and after what happened w Winston, I'm even more fearful of any surgeries. This breed is hoping to give me a heart attack. Lol
The same. Hubby n Kyan go back to school on Monday so we are enjoying the last few days of their break. No snow here tho :(
