Thank you . It does suck as my daughter was really close to her but we knew the time was coming as ridgebacks tend to be 8 to 10 year dogs and Sasha was going to be 9 in 2 weeks. So, now the only pup we have is Harlea which is good and bad but we are making due and not rushing in to getting another pup any time soon. Anywho... I see you noticed that I am 4Paw now. lol
Yeah. We lost our Ridgeback Sasha a week ago Monday to an aggressive form of cancer that was inoperable. We had noticed a few weeks earlier that she had a minor bloody nose and when we looked it appeared to be an ant bite. Well it wasn't it was a tumor. It moved so fast it was crazy. Within 2 weeks she had tumors from her nose to her lungs that were growing faster every day that multiple vets only gave her 3 weeks at best and a year if we tried the minimal treatment that could be done. So, we made the tough decision to let her cross the Rainbow Bridge after we had one last weekend with her.
I'M SO HAPPY TO HEAR FROM YOU!! What a great surprise this morning!! You've got alot reading to catch up on. :D It's so good to see you're feeling better. :D:D
It's good to hear from you. Everyone around here was so worried. Harlea is doing good. Just got her rabies shot last Friday so she is now fully vaccinated and weights 20 pounds on the nose. i am sorry to hear that Brie is rubbing her eye again. I hope it is nothing and will go away soon. she has been though so much recently that she definitely deserves a break and you do too. BTW... I started a Throwback Thursday thread.... Be sure to take a look and laugh like the rest of us are doing.
Hi Lisa, I just read that you aren't feeling well, I'm sorry to hear that, and hope that you get better soon, and that you are back on your feet, and back to your old self soon. Pneumonia is not fun, and takes a long time to recover from, so take care of your self and take care. Sending love, hugs , and prayers that your better soon.
