Um... what award? Haven't seen any notifications come across yet.

That is one of the reasons I'm it so happy here. My folks are fm NYC and we would go see them 1-2 times a year. I hate not seeing them more or acing them see kyan more. I lost my dad n 2010 and it was and still is an extremely hard thing to deal with. So, I try to get up there more to see my mom. It is just so hard w everything going on here.

We live in the area I grew up in. I wanted to live close to my parents so they could watch my children grow up is the main reason. We though about moving back to TN as that is where I met my wife and her parents live in Jackson but at the time I couldn't find a job I liked or a house on a piece of land to suit my needs/wishes. We do still try to make it up there at least once a year to visit and every 3rd xmas or so as we rotate between Houston, Dallas and Jackson each year.

We are thinking about moving back to Beaufort SC where I was stationed before I left the Marines. We loved the whole small historic town scene and I was able to walk 50 yard out my back door and go fishing anytime I wanted to.

Lol thanks. I am a yankee by birth but I just can't give up living so close to salt water and the beach. The sad thing is I won't go to the beach that is only an hiur from my house because it is so nasty. I drive 4 hours for blue water and white sand. Lol

Yeah. Only a few months to go of this nasty heat then it just drops to smoldering for 6 months. She is in rare form tonight chasing everything in sight and she managed to gobble up a chunk of dryer lint from who knows where before I could get it from her. Lol

It's god to hear. Sorry her right eye is still giving you fits. Is it getting any better? Harlea is doing good. Been trying to keep tye mosquitos from flying off with her. I feel bad as she loves to be outside to lounge and eat grass but it has been too stinking hot so she only goes out for a few minutes at a time every 45 minutes or so. Even with her kiddie pool it is just too nasty out.

Well poopy I sure hope it improves today and it's not the hairs growing back.... but the timing is about right. Do you have a small flashlight (like a pen light) you can hold in your mouth to shine in and look? that way you have two hands to open her eye.

That's good to hear she's doing well..I get so stressed out and my whole personality changes when Chum is ailing! Feels so helpless!
