  • Hi :) I really feel for you with what you are going through with your friend.. and I totally get that we don't want to hear whats best for ourselves etc.. I have gone through this with others in my life besides my brother.. it doesn't mean you can't love them and also doesn't mean you can't express your worry and concern to them either.. you just have to be able to do so and walk away without any expectations and that is the hard part.. DRUGS just suck and addiction is horrible.. remember it is a disease. I truly believe that these people do not want to be like this.. big hugs to you.. you are a wonderful person for reaching out for help to help your friend.. Take Care.. Karen
I don't know if Sheila and I are talking about the same one, but I love your avatar too! :)
Hey there...I see that you may have an all white as well? Was just wondering if you have had any type of skin allergies or any type of other skin problems with him/her being all white? Hope to hear from you soon! You can see the pics of my lil Tank!
That is the first time I have ever done that, but I promoted your post about the heat to an article. There is a button on the post that says "promote to article".... do you see it? Wasn't sure if it would erase your original post, but it didn't.... and it still made you the author of the article. Way cool!
I did see that recently. Yes please let me know how it goes! They are definitely not all the same, I know you said Linus did the best on the duck/turkey but Samson did not do well on that at all! I always knew he doesn't do well on chicken so I think turkey didn't sit well with him being that its fairly similiar to chicken. I have never tried lamb or beef (except boiled hamburger for a bland diet) so it would definitely be worth a try! I don't really have any other options with their formulas besides the salmon that I have him on, obviously now I can't feed him the chicken or duck/turkey and I was already skeptical of the rabbit then you told me it made Linus really yeasty so I don't have any interest in trying that one.
Oh no, I accidentally closed the 'Today's photo theme: Your bully baby pics!' thread. You're the only mod on at this month, would you be able to unclose? Had no idea I can do that.
I should probably do the same and stick with NVI. I would feel so bad if I changed and it caused his ear infections to flare up again! Thanks Jill, you are so right! It does have more to do with my desire to vary his diet than his :)
Just wanted to ask you a quick question, do you feel like if you reintroduce Linus to a food with potatoes that the ear infections/yeast will come back? I am afraid to switch Samson from the NVI but the salmon is the only formula he does well on and I hate to think he will be eating the same food for the rest of his life!
Hi There! Was wandering around and saw that your Linus has Yeast problem. My Lola has only the yeast problem, not ear infections. She does have lots of phlehm but don't know if that is related to food. I have her on Blue Buffalo, fish and sweet potato. Just thought I'd reach out and say howdy and see if you have any sage advice.

And I so love the t-shirts!
Oh ok, glad I asked then! Yeah ever since we switched the ear infections just cleared right up! I just can't get over how amazing it is, makes me so happy! I don't know about you but I am scared to EVER switch away from NVI!
Hey there Jill! I have a question for you, is there any of the NVI formulas that Linus had a bad reaction with? So far I have only tryed the salmon and duck/turkey. Both have been just great. I have no interest in trying the chicken. That still leaves the beef and rabbit, I was hesitant to try the rabbit because it's just such a random meat that I know Samson has never had before and I am afraid it won't sit well. Then I would have wasted like $65 on a bag of food we can't use. Thank you!
