  • I think I may name him Johnny. Johnny was a Vietnam era Marine that I met several years ago. He was like a dad to me, I absolutely adored him. We found out in November that he had cancer, he passed away on January 4th. EB's are the Marine Corp mascot. With the pup by my side I'll have Johnny beside me. I saw the pics of Bruno, he is soooooo cute!!!! You must be beaming with pride! Beef is 36 lbs, so I guess he isn't too far off from your babies.
Beefy is almost 8 months old. He was the runt of the litter so he's a bit on the small size but I think he's perfect!
Hi Ana, I reposted three videos in General Not Bulldog Forum , hope you get a chance to view.
Introduce each separately at first. It was chaos in our house for the first hour. So much so I thought I made a mistake getting her so soon. After about an hour or so everyone settled in. :)
Don't be terrified but DO keep a close eye on him. Mainly because Katara and Aldo weigh so much more now. I really had to watch Emma until she got big enough not to get hurt by Wilson and Jack just from them playing.
I know what you mean! The crazy thing is that she just took this bad turn so suddenly. The specialist today (after taking the blood sample) did say that sometimes the immune system can attack the eyes because of an underlying infection or leukemia...and she used the exact word leukemia. That didn't feel so great. At least we have the blood sample in and a place to go from here though. I'd rather know one way or the other.
Things have been hectic lately! Bre's eye seems about the same but she doesn't have as much skip in her step lately. She's still eating about the same even with the puppy food. She just isn't as interested, always finishes it but not as quickly as she would have a few months ago. She's been giving me the "I'm getting tired" look which is sad because she's only 7. She has an appointment with the eye specialist on Tues. My vet felt two lumps under her throat, one on each side. He said we will take care of her eyes first then take care of those. Bleh...

Tank is good though! Tank is always good :)
I had put up a post in the rescue thread about some bullies in a Kansas shelter. There were about 6 brought in all at once. I watched her ad sit and sit then contacted the shelter (she's 9 so I figured her age had something to do with her not being adopted). She and the others were taken from someone who was hoarding bulldogs and they weren't in good conditions. So she isn't potty trained and she has ideopathic head tremors but...she's coming home on Friday! LOL I can't resist an old bully. She will just live out her days here with us :)
The vet never called back which isn't like his office at all. So I'm thinking I will have to make her an appt. Poor girl, she was doing so great and now all of a sudden she starts loosing sight in her eye (or so I assume)! And on top of that I'm supposed to go pick up Gertie on Friday...yeesh.
I'm sure Katara will be fine under your capable care...and Aldo...he can get away with being naughty because he's so stinkin' cute!!! LOL
I predict that you and Aldo will have a very special relationship as a result of all of this. Like my Mable or 2BullyMama's Nietzsche, he'll be your "dream dog'. I love that you aren't giving up on him.
I have never came across a bully with beautiful green eyes like Aldo.
His wrinkly gorgeous face made my day!:)
Hey Ana! Just stopping by to say hello and hope you and the family have a great day! Hope all is going well with training! to you and the family ! Happy Easter!
