  • I'm so glad that I have found a friend in Australia, my hubby will be thrilled!!! LOL My hubby has done 4 tours in Iraq, and of course before that they were going to Kuwait & everywhere else under the sun... Monterey is so beautiful, it was amazing to live there for 2 years, and cannery row has some of the BEST restaurants!!! I'm sorry to hear about your son-in-law, I hope he doesn't have to have surgery... No I'm not familiar w/the trial of Dr. Patel, but that is crazy scary just the same. I have two kids a son who is 18, and my daughter is 12. We also have a grandson Marcus who is 22 months old. It's hard to believe that I'm a grandmother, but we absolutely adore him!!!
I'm getting to the point where I like to wait last minute on trips as well, or we need to start getting the insurance. It never ends, it's always something that seems to crop up at the last minute... I really hope that you guys will get to go!!! What type of business do you have? I have never been to LA, but we used to live in Monterey. My husband attended the language school out there, and it is absolutely beautiful!!! And we LOVED San Francisco... how exciting!!! That's awesome that you get to catch up w/Henny, I noticed that a lot of members are from CA.
I'm try not to worry too much about my hubby, he sent me an e-mail last night so I know he made it. I've been an Army wife for 25 years, and I've gotten to the point where I don't watch a lot of the news... I don't want my kids to hear about soldiers getting killed, and all of the IED's and bombings. I just pray every night... I know that no matter what happens God will get me thru it!!!
I just wanted to stop by & say Thank You for your kind words yesterday... I hope that all is well with you!!! Getting excited about your trip to the US?!!
Tate saw the vet today and she cleaned out the ear pretty well. I'm going to have to give him some antibiotic ointment daily for a week and then she'll check him again nxt week. Otherwise, he seems to be feeling better. Thanku for checking up on him! That's such a funny and cute story about Indianah and Ftse! He doesn't know his own strength! That's exciting that you'll be coming in October Julie! do you happen to know the exact dates yet? that's only 3 months away! I'm looking forward to seeing u and Richard again!!
hi Julie, such a cute avatar pic you have up! is that one of your grand daughters? how are ya?!
oh Julie, those neighbors sound dreadful! now is that man joking when he says "stupid dog"?!! he better be, but even if he is, it's not funny! i think he's the stupid one! Ftse needs to give him another whopper in the nose!

thanks for giving me your email address. Let me give u mine as well: lhotsi at hotmail dot com
hey Julie, well that's probably better that you are "beautifying" your current home rather than uprooting again with buying a whole new house. How is that nosy neighbor of yours anyways? getting better, worse or the same? i think that would drive me nuts since i love being in my backyard and the peace and quiet of it.
That would be wonderful to get together w/you guys when you visit again. You are more than welcome to stay with me as well during your trip. If you want to be in Pasadena for even just a few days, I have a spare bedroom/bathroom :)

better get back to work now! talk to you later :)
Hi Julie!! :hiya: I've been thinking of you and wanting to message u for the longest time now but things kept getting in the way. Now that it's not quite 4am here and the boys are sleeping still, I have some time to just sit down w/coffee and write. How r u doing? Did u end up deciding to move or are you guys still pondering that big decision? How's Ftse? I've been doing pretty good here as work and the boys are keeping me busy. Sometimes they drive me nuts (well, actually that's a daily occurrence)! My niece/nephew and sis-in-law all came back from Korea in March and so it's great seeing them again. It's saturday today and i'm going to take T and F to a new hiking trail/park this morning. We love going early in the morning since it's quieter then and also much cooler. Say HI to Richard from me and I hope you're doing really great!! :missyou:
Of course you will and...I'll leave the light on for you!

In one of my Lupus Internet Groups, I made friends w/an Australian
and she & Hubby visited TX, came and spent the night...we had a blast!

    As we will, Julie...can't wait!
Thank you Julie, kind words that I appreciate! Once I truly let Cami into my
heart, I've been filled with hope again. It's too funny, my cat CoCo (13) Cami
    (5) and me (58) are all really...middle aged women whose pups are grown and
no men in sight, HAHAHAHA, instead of the 3 amigos we are the 3 senoras!

And yes, dear friend, how I wish you & I could share a night of tequila shots and
great music and talk...what FUN! Someday..... Love ya!!
Julie, thank you for remembering BruBru...he was such a great bully!

And, oh my goodness, how cute is baby Ftse?!! Who could resist that
    cutie pie...not me! :inlove:

Did you have a birthday, dear friend...you are a sneaky one then,
hope it was good...Happy Birthday! :lubu:

Well, I'm going back to bed now, have a great day
filled w/wonderful people. Much love, Carol
