Thank you for asking. Usko is doing better than me, I suppose. He is in good spirits, playful, eating and drinking. Only his breathing is not that good, but even that is getting better. This is his first day without pain medication. I am afraid of some kind of relapse like after the first surgery. I'm watching him like a hawk and listening his breathing and he is awfully quiet sometimes...I hope I get over this soon.

The boys r back in their cells today. I think they feel more secure that way bc they're so used to it. And I talked to them about no girl-squirrels in the house bc they carry all sorts of icky diseases.

the boys, as u saw on my post, made it thru the day okay. How come they potty all over the place tho? i thought they were housebroken? confuses me. I'm going to need to stick to crating them still and will give them freedom in small doses.

i don't know if i made the right decision in leaving their crate doors open today or not. I did confine them in the bedroom thouggh so they do not have total free reign of the entire house (at least i hope not)! i dog-proofed the room as much as i could. They just seemed confused as to why i left the crates opened tho. I have been looking at the clock all day and in an hour i will see if they've behaved or not. I have a feeling i'll be cleaning up a bit of a mess though...just a gut feeling! as far as squirrels...!!!

I'm already exhausted, and I see you were up EARLY this morning Went to see Edge of Tomorrow w/Tom Cruise last night… it was pretty bad!!! I honestly didn't want to go, but my friend had free tickets and that's what she wanted to see. So I suffered for a couple of hours… LMAO!!!

Last year I made a peanut butter-banana bread with bacon in it. That was our recipe challenge for TTR--to incorporate bacon in a dessert. Turned out so delicioso! (or is it deliciosA)?

so this weekend, promise me that you'll try "the Elvis"...get a nice piece of bacon on that Goober and add sliced banana. For more decadence, pan fry the sandwich in a little butter and the leftover bacon grease...mmm....and make sure you give Buster Brown a big bite too! This is the breakfast of champions!
