  • Hi there, Yes that is the way Jewel was. The first 96 hours home were the toughest. Miss Bertha Bacon will come out of the fog and start eating and drinking normally. Keeping her immobile will be the task. Jewel had her staples removed after two weeks. She really did not put any weight until after week 3 and still hobbled. We then followed up at 6 weeks post op for xrays. The vet increased her activity to walks. We followed up yesterday at 12 weeks and all of the restrictions were lifted allowing Jewel back to normal activities. I know what you are going through except the added anxiety over Arnold's condition. Prayers and positive vibes to you and your family.
Hi there, Sending you many prayers and positive thoughts for Miss Bertha Bacon's day. Please take deep breaths today. I assume they will be keeping her overnight?
So, true! I wish I would have had all this knowledge when Nitschke was a pup... poor boy suffered horribly with allergies and what I have learned on her the last 3 yrs would have been priceless for him back in 2005/2006
Totally could be! Cheli had it for a day, but since I had the meds for Banks, I caught him early.
the ACE might be too much for her belly..... hope she is feeling better now. I would start back slow with the other two, hold off on the ACE
That is scary, if he is not exaggerating. Could it be she is having a reaction to the Acepromazine? Has she ever been on it before?

Oh just say when on the pads. You can check out my Etsy store and let me know what you see that you like. :) They're very easy to wash no doubt. Sally messes hers all the time.
I had a job reassignment back in January. I got 2 more attorneys added to my desk on top of the 2 I already had and one was an extremely busy trial attorney. I was the only one that could handle the work load. It was too much even for me and they wouldn't make a change. The attorney was super nice but she really needed to be a one person desk. Well I made them make that choice. People weren't happy that I resigned. I had a perfect record in my 9 years there. They were so unhappy that the big honcho took me to lunch where we had a very candid conversation.

I'll be back. The next 8 weeks are super busy. I miss you all too!!!!!!
